Exeed is one of the largest ICT Distribution companies in Australasia and has been in operation in New Zealand since 2002 and launched in Australia in 2015.

Due to our continued growth, we have recently created a new Business unit within Exeed Australia to focus on Commercial and Enterprise solutions and are now looking for a Technical BDM to be responsible for the day-to-day management, growth, profitability, and success of our relationship with Huawei Enterprise.

The Technical BDM will be a member of the Commercial team with a dedicated focus on developing the Huawei Enterprise portfolio nationwide. Responsible for growing the portfolio within Exeed, recruiting new partners and increasing the channel awareness the role will have a special focus on the key strategic accounts and developing to the fullest potential the sales within these partners

This role will ideally suit someone with 3-5 years of successful sales experience within the IT Industry, looking to further develop their knowledge of networking and security.

The position is responsible for delivering on the following:

  • Develop sales acquisition strategy outlining programmes and actions to drive growth both internally and with the reseller channel
  • Create and drive the Huawei Enterprise sales pipeline and report on this to both vendor and Exeed.
  • Assist resellers to sell the Huawei Enterprise portfolio to their end-users & train them on the services and solutions, provide deal or quotation assistance and advice so that the correct solution is presented to the reseller.
  • Drive demand for Huawei Enterprise offerings through face-to-face customer engagements, customer events, workshops, portfolio training, and any other activity including marketing and incentives that results in sales growth for the eligible services
  • Promote the Huawei Enterprise offerings to become a key part of the partner's business & solutions
  • Deliver on the budgeted numbers for the brand via strong pipeline management & execution
  • Drive improvements in customer satisfaction, awareness, recruitment, and satisfaction within the reseller partners
  • Achieve relevant vendor competencies/certifications and keep them current.
  • Coordinate vendor technical resources, as required to close opportunities. Assist with competitive selling and positioning of the portfolio solutions.

In this position, successful delivery will utilise a range of skills and experience. Exeed will look for and recruit the person who can best demonstrate they have the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful business development within the IT industry
  • Hold some form of IT qualification
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Team player with the ability to gain buy-in and commitment from the sales team
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to interpret and draw conclusions from information
  • Ability to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to others to communicate core issues/challenges, gain understanding and develop solutions
  • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of a wide range of products and technologies
  • Effectively manage territory expenses
