Exeed is one of the largest ICT Distribution companies in Australasia and has been in operation in New Zealand since 2002 and launched in Australia in 2015.

Due to our continued growth, we have recently created a new Business unit within Exeed Australia to focus on Commercial and Enterprise solutions and are now looking for a Senior Account Manager to be responsible for the sales growth, profitability, recruitment and development, and customer satisfaction of commercial accounts

This role will ideally suit someone with 5+ years of successful sales and business development experience within the IT Industry.

  • Achieve or exceed revenue and margin targets, and responsible for the overall business relationship and satisfaction of Exeed's accounts.
  • Identify, recruit, onboard and develop new commercial accounts, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers in these organizations to maximize pipeline and sales.
  • Manage account mapping and business planning for key accounts, review the metrics each month, and build specific sales programs for strategic accounts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Exeed's commercial accounts by having regular proactive engagement, including but not limited to scheduled visits, hotdesking, systematic account call cycles, and by providing value-add services.
  • Act as the extended sales arm for Exeed's enterprise vendors, arrange joint meetings for vendors and resellers, and facilitate the enablement of the partnership.
  • Provide weekly updates and reporting on pipeline, deals, partner visits, achievement vs goals set, wins and falls, roadblocks and improvements, and competitor activity analysis.
  • Work closely with vendor representatives and Exeed internal teams to deliver solutions and services to commercial resellers.
  • Provide first-line support to customer sales enquiries, and assist with queries on quotes, products, pricing, stock level, ETA, deliveries, returns and invoices, and provide overflow support for orders.
  • Promote Exeed promotions, programs, portfolios, stock levels, new product information and other communications to resellers.
  • Attend sales and product training for all product categories as and when required and achieve required certifications.
  • Assist to identify new vendors and recruit new vendors based on the market trends, feedbacks, and opportunities seen from the managed accounts.
  • Manage account-based forecasting and stock movement.
  • Look for ways to increase or add-value for Exeed, the customer, and the vendor, develop and deliver sales pitches to commercial accounts.

In this position, successful delivery will utilise a range of skills and experience. Exeed will look for and recruit the person who can best demonstrate they have the following attributes:

  • Minimum of 5 years account management or business development experience in the Australian IT distribution.
  • Strong reputation and an extensive network of contacts within the Australian Reseller landscape in Australia.
  • Extensive knowledge and channel sales experience (8-10 years) within the IT vendor, distribution, and reseller landscape in Australia specifically around networking, storage, security, SaaS, e-Learning, and cloud.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customer needs with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to quickly develop an understanding of a wide range of products and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with open and honest communication.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment and work under pressure to achieve results.
