Exeed is based in Parnell, Auckland. It is NZ's second-largest IT distributor managing some of the world's biggest consumer and commercial brands including HP, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung etc.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a suitably experienced part-time Accounts Assistant to join the team in our Parnell office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable
    • Setting up and maintaining new suppliers
    • Supplier invoices input.
    • Reconcile against Supplier statements
    • Managing process for one-off payments 1-2 payments per week
    • Preparing supplier payments to be authorised, Payment offsetting
  • Back up for Account and Finance Manager where required.
  • Help with Bank reconciliation, expense claim approval, and analysis
  • Rebate and marketing database management and approvals
  • Assist with end-of-month preparation and audit work.
  • General office duties, such as purchasing of supplies, general reception duties.
  • Assisting the finance team as required with general administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate or better Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to own tasks and work autonomously.
  • Reliability -like the first week of the month is our busy period

This is an office-based part-time role, 20 hours a week, working at least three days a week.
