Exeed is based in Parnell, Auckland. It is NZ's second-largest IT distributor managing some of the world's biggest consumer and commercial brands including HP, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a talented individual to join our team. 

Due to continued growth Exeed are looking for a Product Manager to join our Consumer team.  The Product Manager will be work with the team on strategy, roadmap, budgeting, forecasting and marketing of assigned brands. They will be responsible for the growth of assigned brands within Exeed, assisting in the recruitment of new partners and increasing the channel awareness.

This role could suit or someone with 2+ years' in product management, sales rep or account management role. A relevant IT tertiary qualification is preferred

General responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the brands in line with the Exeed business plan
  • Deliver on the budgeted numbers for the brands via strong pipeline management & execution.
  • Develop, communicate and implement long-term strategies for your brands
  • Inventory management, forecasting, and ordering ensure stock aging and inventory levels are maintained within guidelines.
  • Monitoring sales and purchasing to ensure achievement of internal budgets and vendor rebate incentives
  • Create demand for your brands to meet agreed revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Oversee vendor marketing, rebate, RA claims, successfully implement marketing budgets and strategies
  • Negotiate pricing and rebates with vendors to maximise brand profitability
  • Manage relationships with vendors and conduct business reviews for your respective brands
  • Manage product roadmaps and lifecycles, implement go to market strategies and manage product launches
  • Conduct range reviews with customers for your respective brands
  • Work with the Account Managers on key accounts to conduct brand range reviews, attend roadshows/tradeshows to assist in developing sales
  • Conduct product training presentations internally and externally
  • Oversee maintenance of products in Exeed's ERP system and website to ensure all information and assets are readily available for the sales team to successfully sell your brands and utilise as GTM tools.


 The successful candidate will be

  •  2+ years' in product management, sales rep or account management role
  • A relevant IT tertiary qualification is preferred
  • Strong numerical and marketing skills
  • Ability to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Ability to transfer knowledge to others and communicate core issues/challenges, gain understanding and develop solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, strong time management & organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks by importance
  • Ability to find ways to achieve results despite challenges, obstacles or change in direction
  • Motivation and hunger to constantly learn and develop yourself and your skill sets
  • Great teamwork skills and attitude, with the ability to achieve buy-in from the wider team
