Exeed is based in Parnell, Auckland. It is NZ's second-largest IT distributor managing some of the world's biggest brands including Microsoft, HP, Apple, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and Samsung. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a talented individual to join our team. 
 
The Microsoft Modern Workplace BDM will be a key member of Exeed's Microsoft team with a dedicated focus on developing the Microsoft CSP and Modern Workplace programme nationwide. They will be responsible for recruiting new partners and increasing channel awareness with a special focus on the SMB reseller base and developing to the fullest potential the sales within these channel partners.

This role will ideally suit someone with 2-3 years of successful sales experience in business development roles within the IT industry.
 
General Responsibilities
  • Drive sales for CSP and Modern Workplace sales through face-to-face customer engagements, customer events, workshops, webinars, portfolio training, and marketing programmes
  • Create a detailed plan outlining programmes and actions to growth with the assigned SMB reseller channel in line with Exeed and Microsoft's CSP and Modern Workplace business strategies
  • Assist with upsell/cross-sell new workloads on the CSP platform e.g. Microsoft 365, Teams
  • Work with key resellers to develop Modern Workplace marketing campaigns
  • Educate resellers and assist to sell Modern Workplace solutions to their end customers with a focus on customer and seat adds
  • Prepare monthly reporting detailing successful account conversions, target tracking, and market intelligence/feedback.
  • Ensure our share of business growth and call schedules reflect an effective plan to cover accounts each month.
  • Be known as the trusted advisor to resellers and develop a business relationship with resellers to a point where they have a preference for working with Exeed.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • A team player with the ability to gain buy-in and commitment from the sales team, and work in a dynamic sales environment
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to interpret and draw conclusions from information
  • An ability to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Able to transfer knowledge to others to communicate core issues/challenges, gain understanding and develop solutions
  • An ability to quickly develop an understanding of a wide range of products and technologies
